Zion Parish belongs to the United Dioceses of Dublin and Glendalough in the Church of Ireland which is that part of the early Celtic church of St. Patrick that came under the influence of the 16th century Reformation.
The Church of Ireland is an all-island body and has around 345,000 members – 219,000 in Northern Ireland and 126,000 in the Republic of Ireland. Our history is the story of almost 1,600 years of Christian worship and witness in Ireland.
Since 1871, we have been totally independent of any other entity and are led by the Archbishops of Armagh and Dublin.
