‘I am the resurrection and the life,’ says the Lord. ‘Those who believe in me, even though they die, yet shall they live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die.’ John 11: 25,26

The Garden of Remembrance was consecrated on 27 April 1997 as a place of burial for the ashes of parishioners. The first interment took place that year. There are almost 90 plots purchased and about 60 existing plots.

Grant, Lord, that we who are baptized into the death of your Son our Saviour Jesus Christ may continually put to death our evil desires and be buried with him; that through the grave and gate of death we may pass to our joyful resurrection, through his merits, who died and was buried, and rose again for us, your Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
